Position Description
OPC (Workforce Management) offers the opportunity for intense training and quick progression for those that show capability to do so - our expectations are that the best Change Agents will be given responsibility for multiple waves of implementations. They will lead teams of Change Agents on a deployment within a division, segment or a region. You will help create an environment that promotes continuous improvement, increases operating capacity and reduces customer pain points. In the OPC Change Agent role you will conduct initial boot camp training and coaching to staff across all functions. You will work with management to act as change lead for wave rollout (e.g., customize solution to cells/waves, provide content expertise, project manage the implementation), maintain methodology, and maintain/support the tools.
Responsibilities:
As an OPC Change Agent you will learn AIG's structured and data-driven methodology for workforce capacity management and help apply and adapt it to new areas, enabling significant improvements in quality and efficiency
An OPC Change Agent at this level will be responsible for implementation waves that are more complex such as multi-location pools, multi-line products, etc.
You will work closely with local management of a team to diagnose improvement opportunities and implement new capacity management practices in a rapid 4-8 week transformation
You will train and coach local management in capacity management and workforce planning best practices and promote continuous improvement by conducting analysis and recommending effective solutions
You will prepare periodic reports for the OPC Steering Committee and Senior Managers regarding project status and keep OPC COE leadership informed of project direction; renegotiating direction as necessary
The most accomplished Change Agents will have the opportunity to lead teams of other Change Agents for larger implementations.
THIS POSITION CAN BE BASED ANYWHERE IN THE U.S.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent in related work experience)
Basic to advanced project management skills
Worked on formal process improvement initiatives; exposure to or understanding of Lean or Six Sigma would be highly beneficial
Evidence of coaching and/or training skills
Able to commit to a minimum of 2 years within the OPC program initiative
Able to commit to frequent global travel (each wave including planning and ramp down runs for 6 - 12 weeks and will require mobility throughout)
Strong analytical skills and experience in working with metrics and chart building
Excellent Excel and PowerPoint (creation and presentation) skills
Strong influencing and negotiation skills
Highly motivated and hungry for growth and development
Excellent record that reflects high performance and consistent exceptional delivery
Good understanding of specific PC functions, business lines and products
Management consulting experience preferred
