JOB DESCRIPTION
TVH Parts Co. is seeking a Tax Senior Accountant for a newly created position. The position is primarily responsible for multiple corporate tax and compliance related functions for our US and Canadian companies. The position will also assist with monthly financial reporting.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Working with external tax professionals in preparation of federal, state, local and Canadian income tax returns including supporting schedules and calculations
Oversee nexus issues and state and local sales and use tax returns
Oversee state registrations and state reporting and compliance requirements
Preparation of the quarterly and annual tax provision
Updating of annual transfer pricing studies
Responsible for notices from various tax jurisdictions
Preparation and filing of real estate and tangible personal property tax returns
Manage, with external professionals, real estate assessment appeals as needed
Oversee state incentive programs
Identify and implement tax planning ideas and tax minimization strategies
Assist with monthly closing and reporting functions and analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Be a team player and work well with others
Other duties as assigned including general accounting and financial functions

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
CPA certification preferred
International tax experience preferred
Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
2-5 years of corporation taxation experience with a mid to large CPA firm
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Tax provision experience required
Knowledge of current tax laws, regulations, rulings and cases
