Position Description:
The CPR Instructor provides training in Basic Life Support (BLS) per the American Heart Association Guidelines for community classes, new Healthcare provider and reaffirmation classes. He/She is skilled in adult learning principles and is able to design classes to meet a variety of needs of the class participants. The CPR Instructor is able to teach a variety of classes including Health Care Provider CPR and Community CPR as well as First Aid. He/She will be expected to teach classes in a different settings including the hospital and off-site classes in the community. The CPR Instructor is able to teach skills effectively as well as remediate when necessary in a constructive manner. Excellent communication and customer service skills are a prerequisite.

High School diploma or GED required
Experience:
Job related experience required
Previous healthcare experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills:
Verbal communication, customer relations, organizational, ability to multi task and prioritize, and ability to operate office equipment required
License, Registration and/or Certification:
American Heart Association Basic Life Support Instructor certification required upon hireEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
