Title: Assembler-Olathe -Level 2 Location: KS-Olathe
PDS Tech is seeking an Assembler - Level 2 for an open position in Olathe, KS.
In your role, you will:
Be Responsible for the assembly of electronic equipment.
May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble and test assemblies and subassemblies using hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Work under direct supervision. Primary job functions require exercising limited judgment.
Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Special Considerations:
Lifting is generally in the 10 to 15 Lbs. range with minimal repetitions.
Exposure to machinery, chemical, biological, and physical risks is minimal.
As our ideal candidate, you will meet the following requirements:
High School Diploma or its equivalent.
Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty.
May require 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Soldering skills preferred.
Additional tools used will be tweezers, vacuum wands and torque drivers.
Understanding and awareness of chemicals in the work area.
