We are now a part of The University of Kansas Health System, read about our exciting future here! The Clinical Informatic Analyst - Physician will be responsible for building and maintaining an effective relationship between the Physicians and the Information Technology Services department.
This role will primarily focus on support to the physician group to include duties of build, test and maintenance of training environment, creation and maintenance of all training materials for physicians, training all new physicians in either a classroom and/or one on one setting, complete rounding in the hospitals as appropriate, act as the liaison to clinical staff, managers and the ITS Clinical Informatic Analyst team, and is the primary contact for clinical systems, clinician issues and assistance including testing and follow up support.
This person must have the ability to work with minimum supervision and to interact well with all levels of employees and physicians throughout the organization, participate in intra-and interdepartmental collaboration, and handle multiple tasks concurrently to meet deadlines.
Minimum Requirements:
o Bachelor's Degree or four years' experience - Required o 1-3 years experience o Analytical, Organizational, Verbal Communication, Microsoft Office Key
Responsibilities:
o Adheres to and/or maintains departmental policies and procedures, to be regulatory compliant with TJC, OSHA, safety standards, or other regulatory agencies.
o Demonstrates flexibility required to meet changing priorities.
o Maintains respectful working relationships with co-workers and encourages the team approach.
o Approaches work in a manner that makes quality improvement a part of every activity.
o Working knowledge of application benefits and ability to apply these to user workflow.
o Provides 24 hour on call support when assigned.
o Work shifts assigned to support conversions.
o Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate flexibility in a changing environment.
o Participate in stakeholder department meetings and rounding to department twice a week and as required.
o Shares information and resources appropriately with all members of the ITS team.
o Participates in and supports team members in issue resolution and ongoing support efforts.
o Working knowledge of application and system security; collaboration with security analyst for audits and requirements.
o Working knowledge of Light Project Management methodologies and use of approved tools by Project Management Office.
o Consistently adheres to established change control policies and procedures.
o Provides EMR training to providers (includes PowerChart, FirstNet, Dragon) o Provides elbow support to providers o Develops EMR training materials o Supports and assists provider efficiencies and adoption with EMR usage by utilizing Cerner Advance data o Assists in EMR workflow and process design changes o May assist with Millennium build (mPAGE, autotext, orders, etc.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
