gov) Job Duties:
This position is responsible for a caseload of juvenile probation and truancy supervision cases.
The chosen candidate will be required to complete risk/needs assessments, prepare case plans, complete log notes, and attend court hearings.
The chosen candidate will also submit affidavits and reports to the Court and may be asked to appear to testify in court proceedings.
Required Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree is required with preference given to degrees in a social services field.
This position requires attention to detail and strong written/oral communication skills in addition to computer skills.
Ability to work both independently and with a team is required.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Minimum of one year experience in the field of criminal justice is preferred, with preference given to experience relating directly to probation supervision.
YLS and EPICS certification as well as knowledge of evidence-based practices is preferred.
Ability to maintain calm in stressful situations and multi-task is important.
