Johnson County Dermatology Johnson County Dermatology Olathe, KS Olathe, KS Full-time Full-time From $18 an hour From $18 an hour Fast paced dermatology clinic near Olathe Medical Center is seeking an enthusiastic individual with experience as a Medical Assistant to assist in clinic and phone triage.

Experience with ECW (e-clinical works) is a plus Essential Duties & Responsibilities includes:
Escorting patients to and from exam rooms Assist providers with exams and procedures as requested.
Prepare, stock and clean exam/treatment rooms and order supplies as needed.
Clean, sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment.
Assist with phone calls, including notifying patient of results, orders, and prescription information Schedule patients' procedures and other office visits.
Assist in processing and scheduling of incoming and outgoing referrals Completes all tasks within the process of a prior authorization including, appeals, registering for copay cards, communicating with mandatory specialty pharmacies Performs other administrative duties, as requested by supervisor or provider.
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities Exceptional communication skills Positive, friendly, and compassionate Adaptable to the changing healthcare field Ability to remain focused and organized Computer savvy and prior EMR use preferred Investigative and resourceful Ability to walk and/or stand for long shifts Prior clinical medical experience highly recommended Able to demonstrate strong patient advocacy Job Type:
