Kikka Sushi is looking for an energetic, dependable, hardworking Prep Cook / Team Member who will provide great customer service in the Whole Foods Market located at: 14615 W 119th St, Olathe, KS 66062.
This FT only, 5 days a week, Friday Sunday a must, 7am 4pm (includes a hour unpaid meal break).
In general the Prep Cook / Team Member will make sushi in advance and made to order per the customer's request. Don t know how to make sushi, no problem, we will teach you!
The team member will also do prep work, prepare other Asian foods and maintain a clean and neat environment while helping customers in a fun, fast paced, exciting environment.
To thrive you must show up to work on time and as scheduled, be willing to learn and work hard (this isn t an easy job), be patient (it takes about 3 months to make sushi quickly and look nice too), must be willing to stick it out (not quit after a few weeks or a couple of months) and be able to work with multi-cultural and multi-lingual co-workers, some who barely speak English.
Pay: $15.00 per hour, no tips allowed.
Qualified candidates must be able to
Be 18 years of age or older
Be eligible to work in the U.S.
Know what with sushi is (hint: it s not raw fish)
Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Work all Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
Preferred experience
Working in quick service restaurants, supermarkets or fast paced environments
Food handling experience and food handler certification

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
