The Claims Processing professional is an integral part of the claims process by providing timely and accurate information to ensure data integrity in all transactions.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Conducting follow up calls for additional research to ensure data completeness
Maintaining compliance with all state guidelines
File copy/audit requests to include printing, scanning, mailing, and faxing documents
Completion of state compliance letters and forms
Request and complete wage statements and claimant job descriptions when required
Research files and provide lists and/or photocopies of documents and subpoenas to attorneys and vendors Desired skills and qualifications include:
Able to provide outstanding customer service to both internal and external clients
Ability to produce a quality product in a high production environment
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized and able to handle multiple and ongoing tasks
Flexibility and the ability to work in an evolving environment
Strong computer skills, must have knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Prior experience in a professional office setting in an Administrative or Support role
