We are looking for a full-time Process Engineer for our Electric Engineering team at headquarters in Olathe, Kansas. In this role you will be responsible for utilizing software to create basic fixtures and developing process instructions and create routings. Other essential functions include:
Attends DFT training and demonstrates understanding of Lean Philosophy
Gains knowledge of and demonstrates understanding of ECO implementation
Identifies and resolves defects of basic scope using proper engineering tools and techniques
Participate in Design Reviews with senior members of the process engineering team
Communicates status of work clearly providing visibility to supervisor or mentor
May be responsible for planning own technical work
Applies design standards and procedures to complete well defined basic tasks and/or projects
Qualified candidates possess a Bachelor of Science in an engineering related discipline in Electrical Engineering. Other requirements include:
Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated capability for applying industry standards and procedures to develop, implement, and document operational processes
Ability to learn how to use and apply engineering tools
Must demonstrate the capability to perform basic troubleshooting & debugging
Previous work or internship experience working in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred!
