Supervisory Administrative Officer

The Supervisory Administrative Officer provides direct support to the DASM regarding day to day administrative functions of a District, which includes supporting a large number of geographically disbursed air traffic facilities, assisting the DASM in achieving goals, maximizing administrative services; planning and executing administrative business activities, and integrating consensus building throughout the district.Provides direct supervision to a team of professionals responsible for a broad range of administrative functions/programs (time and attendance, procurement, travel, logistics, finance, coordination of personnel actions and recruitment request with HR, etc.).Provides advice and guidance to management officials at all levels throughout the district. Provides guidance for the preparation, presentation, formulation, justification, and execution of administrative process and programs, which includes an in depth knowledge of organizational agreements, MOPS, applicable precedents, agency manuals, directives, and research materials.Exercises a high level of judgment in the performance of his/her duties by independently ensuring efficient approaches to meeting existing and anticipated requirements of the district.Responsible for ensuring compliance with financial management and other administrative programs and policies.Provides advisory services to managers and employees on the preparation of budget estimates. Justification and budget execution plans, including such matters as the distribution of allotments and availability of budgetary funds for program purposes. Provides oversight to insure compliance and fiscal responsibility.Coordinates with servicing HR office regarding hiring and selection processes, performance management, and employee recognition.Supports district management officials with administrative processes in relation to work environment issues, sensitive employee matters, or with controversial dealings. Serves as a liaison between district management officials and AJT Executive Staff, Service Center, Human Resources, Aviation Medical, Security and other peer organizations.Communicates and reinforces EEO policies and programs in all areas of responsibilities, including selection, training, and promotion. Fosters a work environment where employees are treated in a fair and equitable manner. Provides procedural guidance on EEO, Accountability Board, formal appeal, legal and grievance processes to all levels of management.Contacts are routinely with district employees/managers, service area executive staff. Service center personnel. Human Resources, Aviation Medical, Security, HQ program offices and other peer organizations. To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV- H, FG/GS 12 in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience may include but not limited to:
experience applying policies and procedures to FAA administrative program activities. Such programs administrative programs affecting the organization; OR financial management; coordinating budget matters analyzing budget/fiscal reports, financial management, logistics, purchasing and other finance-based programs, processes and systems affecting an organization.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
