For Sale: 1970 Chevrolet Corvette in Olathe, Kansas for sale in Olathe, KS
Vehicle Description Selling my 1970 Corvette for $39,500.
350/300hp engine, turbo 400 hydramatic transmission, 3:
08 rear end.
I am the third owner and purchased the car in March 2018 from the second owner who lives in Tulsa.
They purchased the car from the original owner who lived in Dallas.
The car runs and drives perfectly.
However, the factory a/c blows warm.
The vacuum operated headlights and wiper door work and all of the lights and fiber optics work.
I am selling because I am looking to purchase a different car in the future.
I had the car judged by my local NCRS (National Corvette Restoration Society) chapter and received a Second Flight award, which was earned by getting 88% of the total points for originality.
Since then, I have replaced many parts and made many improvements, which I think will get the car very close to earning a Top Flight award, which is obtained by getting 94%
of the total points.
A list of the improvements that I have made follows:
2019 - New AC Delco front and rear shocks, new period correct and date coded spark plug wires.
2020 - New period correct and date coded alternator and starter.
New period correct and date coded side mirror.
New period correct rear view mirror.
2021 - New period correct air filter and strut rods.
New rear spring.
The original speedometer was rebuilt and a new speedometer cable was installed.
The tachometer was inspected, cleaned, and lubed.
A new period correct master cylinder was installed, the oil was changed and the transmission fluid and gasket were replaced.
New front and rear bushings were installed.
2022 - New exhaust pipes, mufflers, and exhaust tips were installed.
New Firestone Wide Oval radial tires, including the spare tire, were installed.
The wheels were balanced and aligned.
